Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic responsibilities
Supporting the Clinical Director in:
Ensuring ADHD 360 approach to assessment and
treatment for both ADHD and Autism remains compliant with necessary regulatory
standards.
Deputise for the Clinical Director as required.
Ensuring that the overall strategic growth for
ADHD, both in the UK and other territories.
Oversight of the service delivery of the
Prescribing function and the Paediatric service for ADHD360
Tactical
responsibilities
Lead and line manage the Service Manager, Paediatric Nurse Consultant and Safeguarding Lead.
Supporting the Service Manager in ensuring
fulfilment with assessments, reviews and reallocation. This is to ensure high
quality care with optimal performance, and organisational success.
CPD is an expected norm, and the post holder
will be expected to attend international conferences such as but not
exclusively, APA, NEI, ADHD World Congress and readily give their time, to this
highest level of CPD opportunities (fully expensed).
Being responsible for recruiting new members of
staff to the clinical teams, including being part of our assessment centre days.
Delivering clinical and operational elements of
the ADHD 360 academy, a once-a-month or bi-monthly weekend commitment,
residential in a Lincolnshire hotel.
Attending and representing the clinical team at
a monthly Clinical Operations Meetings in the absence of the Clinical Director,
normally convened at ADHD 360 HQ, Nettleham, Lincs
Collating information and making management
decisions, with the management team, on clinicians' performance and
conduct/behaviours.
Becoming and sustaining an SME status across
ADHD treatment and in general.
Operational responsibilities
Line managing the Service Manager, Paediatric
Nurse Consultant and Safeguarding Lead, leading and managing/escalation of
Clinical Incidents and investigations.
Deliver a clinical caseload (1 assessment a
week, and associated care).
Having direct oversight of VIP patients /
internal staff as patients
Have a full appreciation and comprehension of
every aspect of both treatment pathways, ADHD and Autism
Delivering patient-facing webinars on related
subjects
Delivering staff training as required
Oversight of clinical and non-clinical complaints
Qualifications
and Experience:
Full clear and current Registration with NMC.
Qualified Non-Medical
Prescriber with extensive experience.
Educated to Masters Level
or equivalent with extensive experience / competence.
knowledge of clinical governance and effective systems of medical
management such as job planning, appraisal and clinical assessment, PSIRF.
Evidence of continued professional development.
Proven record of line management, leadership and service function
improvement.
Competencies:
Experience prescribing in many contexts and the
prescribing of controlled drugs
Experience working in patient-facing roles at a
strategic level, commanding authority and delivering success

manner in which supervision and development are applied across the clinical
team
Dependability the role relies on the post

IT competent, especially in MS Office, Outlook,
Word, and Excel and capability to be
competent with our bespoke platform Chrysalis
Confidence the post holder must demonstrate
confidence to the patient/families and also within the team, this should be
built on professional competence and a measure of humility
Team player the post holder will be a key part
of a team that shares goals, culture and an ethos built around delivery for our
patient group
Resilience the post holder will be expected to
be strong, to cope with the demands of providing healthcare to the ADHD patient
group, and be capable of investing themselves in this responsibility, on
occasions stretching beyond the 9-5 window to ensure our patients feel safe,
reassured and involved.
