Time 4 U currently have
opportunities for Support Workers across a range of our supported living
services, meeting a variety of presenting needs including, Learning
Disability, Mental Health, Autism and Physical Disabilities.
Main duties of the job
The range of services that
Time 4 U provide, offers Time4U Support Workers an amazing opportunity
to learn and develop a range of skills and experience that enable and
empower the people we support to become as independent as possible with
day-to-day activities and growing more confident in their independent
living skills.
You will be playing a critical
role in offering high quality support and compassionate care to the
people we support by helping to encourage a model of self-care and
independence, in areas that may include:
- Support in booking and attending appointments
- Support with meal planning and preparation
- Supporting with travel training in building confidence and skills in using public transport
- Supporting with washing and dressing
- Support with medication
- Supporting and assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing
- Supporting people to maintain a healthy lifestyle, tenancy and living environment
- Supporting to attend college, work or community activities

- The Care Certificate is essential. Free training shall however be offered both online and face to face, with opportunities to study for the NVQ Health and Social Care Level 2 and 3 (subject to availability)
Experience

- You must have experience of working in supporting clients with enduring mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
Eligibility to apply

- You must be able to communicate effectively and have a good standard of written and spoken English.
