Job summary

Our Volunteer Logistics Teams are responsible for a wide variety of duties. These duties are integral to the efficient delivery of various services across our major events and operations and the role works hand in hand with our Event Medical Services & Ambulance team.

Main duties of the job

There are a range of activities you may support

Moving and setting up medical equipment and facilities
Vehicle preparation
Equipment checking and restock
Driving / logistics
Medicines management
Uniform preparation
Documentation preparation

Full training is provided for the role

To assist with vehicle movements between depots, vehicle maintenance and stocking to ensure vehicles operational readiness at all times.
To assist with the bump in and bump out at major events, including set up of marquees, set up of clinical areas and transportation of members.
To assist with general logistics to ensure that Event Health Services is operationally ready at all times.
To assist with general member welfare and support during major events.
