Join Our Team as Qualified Event Medical Staff Short-Term Assignments Available

We are seeking experienced and qualified medical staff to support our event medical services during the busy festive season. We are looking for dedicated staff who can commit to short-term assignments across our listed venues from 27th November 2025 through to 2nd January 2026.

This role requires a regular commitment of 3-4 shifts per week, with shift times typically running from 4:00pm to 10:00pm, including evenings and weekends. Successful candidates will be working independently on site, providing professional, reliable, and high-quality medical cover for events and community activities.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with existing event medical experience who are confident working alone, managing a variety of presentations, and delivering excellent patient care in line with clinical standards.

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of FREC3 qualification (or equivalent)

  • Demonstrable event medical experience

  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions

  • Strong communication and professionalism when representing us

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality first response medical care at our event locations, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of attendees. You will be the first point of contact for anyone requiring medical attention, delivering assessment, treatment and escalation where necessary. Working independently on site, you will manage a range of presentations with professionalism and clinical confidence, from minor injuries to more urgent situations, ensuring appropriate record-keeping and handover when required.

Your duties will also include maintaining readiness of medical equipment and supplies, ensuring your treatment space is safe and well-prepared, and communicating effectively with event organisers, colleagues, and emergency services when required. As a visible representative of our team, you will uphold the highest standards of patient care, professionalism and customer service, helping to create a safe environment for all.

Compliance and Onboarding

As a CQC registered organisation we require candidates to complete our full induction and onboarding processes.

This will include:

  • Full enhanced DBS check (adults and children) [you may need to pay for this if you cannot provide appropriate evidence]
  • References and Work History
  • Health Declaration and Immunisation History
  • Professional Registration check (where appropriate)
  • Proof of qualifications (and related CPD where requried)
