- Full time onsite
 - Nursing Management, Critical Care Medicine, and Patient Care skills
 - Experience in nursing and acute medicine.
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 - Experience in Clinical Governance reporting and action plans linked to quality improvements.
 - Safeguarding Lead, previous experience desirable.
 - Preferred: previous experience in A&E, ITU, HDU, CCU, Respiratory, or Complex Care settings.
 - Ideally: experience with Ventilator and Tracheostomy Care
 
Main duties of the job
- Coordinating the MDT to ensure defined and assessed needs of patients are met, in line with evidence based practice and defined in the Patients Care Plan and to effectively manage clinical risk. To provide nursing leadership to the qualified nursing staff, acting as a role model and encouraging service development in relation to nursing practice.
 - To be aware of Patient clinical dependencies and build effective partnership relationships with Patients and their significant others. Ensuring clinical areas are safely staffed in respect of skill mix, competency and numbers of staff with regarding to Patient dependencies, clinical risk and appropriate resource allocation as per the Centres agreed Establishment Hours. To have an overview of the medicines management system to ensure medicines in the Centre are ordered, stored, given and disposed of in line with the medicines management policies, and that all nursing staff are trained, competent and supervised in the administration of medicines. Version 1.1: Updated August 2022 To provide coordination and oversight to the Centres GSF processes and accreditation.
 - To provide coordination and oversight to the Centres IPC processes as the IPC lead for the clinical areas. Coordinating the clinical admissions pathway in respect of patient assessment and safe admission of Patients to the Centre. To take responsibility for the Clinical Budget for the Centre, ensuring effective allocation of resources and stock management procedures.
