As a Clinical Lead at Frances Bolitho Care home, you'll look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve. You will have the autonomy to deliver excellence across everything that you do, and you will be truly valued and respected by the team.

Main duties of the job
- Creating personalised care plans
- Meeting the clinical needs of our residents and supporting/ mentoring the care team to deliver the best outcomes.
- Medication administration, storage and ordering.
- Adhering to NMC guidelines and company policies.
About us
Frances Bolitho Care Home is located in the grounds of the Polwithen Estate in Penzance. It has 33 nursing and dementia nursing beds, and a separate annex that serves 12 residential dementia beds. Bolitho Day Nursery is just across the garden from the Care Home, and offers intergenerational activities throughout the year.
As part of our home management team, you will have overall management of your shift, helping the home and staff maintain the highest quality standard of care and customer service. You will play a vital role in the management, development and motivation of your team, coaching and developing them to high performance and helping the home create an inclusive and positive environment where our residents can thrive.

- Strong people skills
- Passionate about the care of older people
- Excellent observational skills
- Attention to Detail
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Able to provide all forms of original documentary evidence for a DBS check.
- Full clean driving licence with vehicle business insurance
- Able to utilise transport when and if required.
- Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse
- Active NMC PIN
- Minimum of 3 years experience of working as a Registered Nurse.
- Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure in a diverse and changing environment.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels.
- Ability to carry out all aspects of the role to a high standard at all times.
- Sound working knowledge of safeguarding adults
- Sound working knowledge of the required standards and legislation as inspected by the CQC
Desirable
- Level 5 in Leadership and Management
- Level 3 Safeguarding
- Previous experience of compliance and quality monitoring
- Previous experience of auditing care services and developing action plans to address identified shortfalls.
