(MHWS) is a fast-growing, CQC-regulated service with real ambition. We are expanding our prescribing team to meet the needs of our NHS-commissioned services.

Main duties of the job
Clinical Duties
- Comprehensive ADHD Assessment: Conduct holistic ADHD assessments and reassessments, identifying complex co-morbidities and differential diagnoses.
- Comprehensive ASD Assessment: Conduct high-quality autism assessments using gold standard assessment tools such as ADOS and ADI-R
- Pharmacological: Lead titration and medication follow-up clinics, ensuring safe and effective treatment in line with NICE guidelines.
- Physical Monitoring: Oversee physical health markers (ECGs, BP, pulse, BMI) as part of a safe prescribing framework.
- Therapeutic Rapport: Build trusting, affirming relationships with neurodiverse patients and their families.
Governance & Innovation
- High Standards: Maintain impeccable clinical records within our digital platforms to meet CQC and professional standards.
- Service Development: Contribute to clinical audits, research, and the ongoing evolution of our neuro-affirming pathways.
- Risk Management: Provide expert analysis of complex clinical information to manage risk and promote patient recovery.
Teamwork & Collaboration
- MDT:Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective care plans and treatments are in place for more complex services users.
- Liaison: Act as a specialist point of contact for GPs, ICBs, and external mental health partners.
