Job summary

We are seeking experienced reporting Radiographers to join our team on a flexible weekend basis, reporting MSK and Chest scans for our client in Scotland. This role offers the flexibility to choose your preferred working days, hours, and location, enabling you to balance work around your schedule.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MSK and chest scans within an NHS hospital setting, contributing to backlog reduction.
  • To undertake and interpret diagnostic imaging independently. To formulate, issue and be accountable for clinical reports.
  • To independently assess each patient and adapt radiographic techniques according to the needs of the patient.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Hold a postgraduate certificate or postgraduate diploma in Radiography
  • Current and up to date state registration through a regulatory body (HCPC or NMC ) or through the Register for Clinical Technologists.

Desirable

  • CASE Accreditation

Experience

Essential

  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience working in the NHS reporting MSK and Chest scans independently.
  • Confidence and ability to issue own reports on examinations
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
