Job summary

Medicare Insourcing Services are one of the leading clinical insourcing providers, supporting NHS Trusts to reduce their waiting times by utilising their facilities on a 7 day per week basis. Our specialisms are varied and extensive but this role will be to support the running of Out Patient Clinics within Trusts throughout the UK covering multiple clinical areas.

Main duties of the job

  • Maintain confidentiality surrounding patient admission and treatment at all times
  • Ensure documentation is completed accurately and within agreed timescales using Hospital approved documentation, in line with NMC and Hospital guidelines
  • Have knowledge of and adhere to ward and Hospital policy and professional standards. Ensure that team members do likewise
  • Ensure the provision of excellent, evidence-based nursing care for patients
  • Ensure that each patient is assessed, and that their care is planned, implemented and evaluated, and that this is accurately documented
  • Participate in effective communication between all members of the multidisciplinary team, other hospital departments, relatives and visitors
  • Ensure quality care is given, by being familiar with agreed standards of care and to inform seniors, if the required standard cannot be reached

  • NMC Registered
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience of working within the NHS.

Desirable

  • Previous experience of working within an Out Patients environment within an NHS Trust.
