Parkinsons Nurse Advisor

Permanent, Full-time

Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5.30pm

£40,000 per annum + £4,800 annual car allowance

Here at Bionical Solutions we are looking for a Parkinsons Nurse Advisor to deliver clinical care and education and support to patients who are receiving a specific treatment that will help with their Parkinson's disease.

Your role as a Parkinsons Nurse Advisor:

• You will deliver training on the service, pumps and pen devices to enable the patient or carer to safely self-medicate

• Monitor the patients response to treatment

• Provide ongoing support to patient via telephone calls, video calls or home visits

• You will manage your own diary and schedule pre-assessment, titration, and post-assessment visits

• Liaise with hospital HCPs regarding clinical changes with the patient

• Maintain supplies and stock control

• Report any non-compliance

Your skills and experience:

• Registered Nurse with clinical experience

• Prior experience within Neurology would be desirable but not essential

• Commercial awareness or prior experience working as a Nurse Advisor or in a homecare role

• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team

• Driven to provide high quality patient care

• Possess a full driving license and have a strong willingness to travel across the region
