Support Learners in Primary Care Supervisors Wanted

Are you a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist interested in occasional, flexible supervision work?

Were looking for healthcare professionals to support student placements in GP practices and community venues across Lincolnshire. This is not a permanent role but anad-hoc opportunity, with supervision sessions availableas and when placements take placethroughout the year.

Lincolnshire Training Hub offer and support placements for undergraduate students, within Primary Care, in Lincolnshire.

We are looking for enthusiastic, registered, individuals to support these placements as clinical supervisors.

The role includes supporting students both in practices around Lincolnshire and community venues. Some examples of previous venues includes Age UK, Butlins, Farms, Supermarkets and many more.

Placements are currently run for nursing, pharmacy and paramedic students. We are looking to expand the offer and experience for all undergraduate healthcare professionals.

Main duties of the job

The main duties include:

Supporting undergraduate students

Supervising placements which involve lifestyle advice, basic observations, communication skills, health promotion and NHS Healthchecks.

The role includes supporting students both in practices around Lincolnshire and community venues. Some examples of previous venues includes Age UK, Butlins, Farms, Supermarkets and many more.

About us

Lincolnshire Training Hub was formed following an initiative from Health Education England (now NHS England) to assist with workforce transformation in Primary Care. We work across Lincolnshire with our partner organisations Lincolnshire ICB, the Lincolnshire ICS, Lincolnshire LMC and the PCN Alliance, as well as universities and other stakeholders across the East Midlands to promote primary care as a first-choice career destination.

LTH is a dynamic and innovative team with representation from all those employed within primary care in Lincolnshire.
