Care home: Ravensdale Care Home (Leeds) Copperfields Care Home (Leeds) Hillside Court Care Home (Leeds) Wykewood Care Home (Bradford)
Location: Multisite covering four services across the West Yorkshire region
Contract type: Full time - Monday to Friday.
Rate: £40,000 per annum

Join us as our new Senior Occupational Therapist working across four complex care services in West Yorkshire.
As a Senior Occupational Therapist with us, you'll support our residents with a high-quality occupational therapy service throughout their journey with us. You'll play a key role in empowering them and maximising their independence.
You'll lead and supervise Junior Therapists or Therapy Assistants across the homes you support to ensure delivery of evidence-based, high quality therapy and rehabilitation.
You'll build relationships with the people you support, and see the progress they make through ongoing care, which is extremely rewarding.
Main duties of the job
About the role
Our Occupational Therapists provide specialist assessments, clinical diagnoses and interventions to help people overcome the challenges they face with completing everyday tasks and activities.
Youll work as part of a wider Clinical Team to create person-centred care and rehabilitation plans that maintain and build peoples abilities, support them to achieve their goals and evaluate their outcomes.
No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
being responsiblefor a clinical caseload
working alongside the people we support, their loved ones and professionals to develop and deliver person-centredoccupational therapy interventions
collaborating closely with theTherapy Team(Physiotherapist, Therapy Assistant and Activities Coordinators)
being responsible for aclinical caseload
carrying outassessments
maintaining accuraterecordsfor people receiving occupational therapies
promoting choice,dignityand independence.
