About us
Amvale Medical - Our Story
Amvale Ltd began its journey in 1985, when we identified a
critical gap in local transport services particularly for children with
disabilities. At the time, support in this area was limited and investment was
virtually non-existent. Amvale took its first steps into specialised medical
and community-focused transport solutions.
Thanks to our growing reputation across Lincolnshire and
Humberside, local hospitals soon approached us to provide Patient Transport
Services (PTS). In response, We decided to invest further in this area, and
in 1998, Amvale Medical Transport Ltd was formed. It was not long before we
became heavily involved in both PTS and Transport for Transplant services, and
we are proud to continue providing these vital services to NHS Trusts and
hospitals both locally and nationwide.
Over the years, Amvale Medical Transport Ltd has expanded
into other areas, including Paramedic Ambulances, Emergency Department Staffing
Support, Mental Health Transport, Secure Transport, Patient Bed Watch services,
Emergency Medical Teams, Hospital Call Control, Medical Training, Medical
Flights, medical provision at entertainment events. We now celebrate more
than 25 years of independent business success, and in December 2019, Amvale
Medical Transport Ltd further expanded its operations by establishing another
ambulance station in Glasgow, trading as Amvale Scotland Ltd.
