Outpatient Network is recruiting Patient Booking Coordinatorsto
join our remote administrative team supporting outpatient services across Manchester
University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).
This is an exciting
opportunity to work from home while helping patients access timely care across
multiple specialities, including Dermatology, ENT, Urology, and General
Surgery.
Full training is provided including Epic and Hive systems and flexible
working arrangements are available.
Main duties of the job
As a Patient Booking Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring patients are efficiently booked into outpatient clinics and procedures. You will manage patient appointment schedules, maintain patient tracking lists (PTLs), and communicate effectively with clinical and administrative colleagues.
Duties include:
- Booking new and follow-up outpatient appointments across a range of specialities.
- Managing and updating Patient Tracking Lists (PTLs) and scheduling systems.
- Communicating with patients, clinicians, and service managers via telephone and email.
- Supporting efficient use of outpatient capacity and ensuring smooth patient flow.
- Recording data accurately using hospital systems (Epic and Hive training provided).
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to GDPR and information governance standards.
Working collaboratively with remote and on-site teams to support operational performance.
