Job summary

Outpatient Network are looking for Consultant Gynaecologists with a special interest in Urogynae to work with us in our Urogynae insourcing clinics for a trust on the south coast of England

Main duties of the job

  • Lead and participate in specialist urogynaecology clinics, managing conditions such as urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.

  • Undertake comprehensive assessments, including pelvic floor examinations and urodynamic studies.

  • Provide a full range of treatment options, including conservative, pharmacological, and surgical interventions.

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, continence nurses, colorectal surgeons, and urology colleagues.

  • Perform relevant urogynaecological surgical procedures and support theatre sessions.

  • Contribute to clinical governance activities, including audit, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.

    • You will hold a CCT in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with subspecialty training or a demonstrable special interest in Urogynaecology. Strong communication skills, a patient-centred approach, and commitment to service development are essential.
