Job summary

Outpatient Network are currently looking for Pre-Op Nurses to work with us in our service at Telford. We are able to offer competitive rates of pay paid via Ltd company or PAYE

Main duties of the job

Prepare patients for surgery by assessing their medical history, performing physical exams, and ensuring all preoperative tests are complete. They educate patients on the procedure, anesthesia, and recovery process, provide emotional support, and administer prescribed medications. They also ensure that the patient is physically ready for surgery, verify the surgical site, and coordinate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth transition into the operating room.
