We are now seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team and oversee compliance activities within our medical recruitment and clinical insourcing divisions.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the compliance function, ensuring all recruitment and insourcing candidates meet regulatory and contractual requirements (e.g., GMC, DBS, NMC, RTW, immunisations).
  • Manage the end-to-end compliance process, including pre-employment checks, professional registration, right-to-work documentation, references, and medical clearances.
  • Oversee audits and compliance reporting, ensuring accurate records are maintained in line with internal policies and relevant frameworks (HTE, SBS, NHS Employers, CQC, GDPR).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for compliance queries, providing guidance and training to internal staff and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with medical professionals and clients to ensure all documentation and certifications are up-to-date and compliant with current regulations.
  • Ensure timely renewals of compliance documents and keep an organised and up-to-date database of all candidates.
  • Maintain awareness of the latest compliance regulations and implement changes accordingly to maintain full regulatory adherence.
  • Collaborate with service delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding processes for clinicians.
  • Assist in identifying areas for compliance process improvement and implement new strategies to enhance efficiency.

  • Knowledge of GDPR regulations and right-to-work checks.
