Job summary

Requirements

  • Experience in an Endoscopy and Decontamination setting including Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) at Supervisory level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Have a detailed understanding of Endoscopy/CSSD specific systems including RO plant/AERs/drying cabinets/Washer Disinfectors/Sterilizers.
  • Ability to adapt to changes of the service and bring new ideas.
  • Willingness to develop skillset by attending courses appropriate to role.
  • Demonstrate ability to liaise effectively and report appropriately to line managers.

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for supporting the rota leads with the Clinical Rota management for Endoscopy and Decontamination contracts, and agency / insourcing booking and contract management.
  • Management of key Clinical Dashboards and data bases.
  • Support the Clinical leadership team with projects and meetings.
  • Complete clinical audits on live contracts and produce returns where required.
  • Liaise with other internal departments to ensure compliance with Endoscopy/CSSD specific systems including RO plant/AERs/drying cabinets/Washer Disinfectors/Sterilizers
  • Have a detailed understanding of endoscopy/CSSD specific equipment including clinical equipment such as Endoscopy stack system etc.
  • Understand endoscopy/CSSD specific paperwork and traceability documentation.
  • Understand, plan and follow up on endoscopy/CSSD specific PPMs and servicing.
  • Support with Clinical site inductions for new starters.
  • Perform water management processes on clinical sites when required to provide continuity of service.
