Main duties of the job

  • Participate on the on call system post discharge for Paediatric patients

  • Participate in all aspects of the Childs care including OPD, Pre assessment, Ward (Day Surgery), Theatre and post discharge.

  • Paediatric Basic Life Support
  • Knowledge of Child protection issues
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character
  • Provide training in Child protection and other relevant informal and formal teaching sessions relation to care of the child as required.
  • Previous clinical supervisory experience (desirable)

Desirable

  • EPLS (desirable)
  • Level 3 Paediatric Safeguarding (desirable)
  • Flexibility for Shifts (desirable)
