Main duties of the job

Hours of work will be of a weekend, rota'd in advance though there will be the opportunity for additional hours in the week subject to applicant's availability. You will be supporting qualified therapists upon a busy Orthopaedic inpatient ward and will be required to deliver patient treatments, working independently; teaching and practising, transfers and exercises, progressing mobility with appropriate walking aids following guidance and support from a physiotherapist.

Bank Physiotherapy Technician/Student Physiotherapist(2nd/3rd year)

We are seeking to recruit a suitably experienced Physiotherapy Technician/2nd or 3rd year student to join our pool of bank clinicians. Hours of work will be of a weekend, rota'd in advance though there will be the opportunity for additional hours in the week subject to applicant's availability. You will be supporting qualified therapists upon a busy Orthopaedic inpatient ward and will be required to deliver patient treatments, working independently; teaching and practising, transfers and exercises, progressing mobility with appropriate walking aids following guidance and support from a physiotherapist. The successful candidate should be motivated, organised with a positive can do attitude. They must show the ability to be flexible within their working day and show initiative with their caseload. Proven orthopaedic experience is essential for this role as is the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
