The post holder will be expected to provide leadership day to day in the high performing Pre-Admission Department and to work collaboratively with the Head of clinical services and clinical Lead to develop the service acting as a role model to junior staff and contributing to their management and development.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the Pre-Admission Department and support in the day to day organisation of clinic schedules.Undertake a range of clinical activities including supervision and pre-admission clinics.To participate in Clinical Governance agenda, ensuring audits are undertaken and the investigation of incidents/complaints.Support in the development of policies and procedures to ensure care and services are safe.Be responsible for the supervision of a group of staff, allocating work and encouraging staff development and undertake appraisals/job performance review.Supporting the Ambulatory Clinical Manager with staff absence management
and rostering staff to ensure efficient use of staff hours within the Pre-Admission department.Support the H to achieve KPIs and quality indicators.Collaboration with other departments involved in the pre-admission process.Demonstrate outstanding clinical practice at all times and to be accountable for own actions.Provide professional supervision.
