We are currently expanding our team at Springfield Hospital and have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Lead Nurse to join our team as an Infection Control Lead Nurse. The role As an Infection Control Lead Nurse, you will demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to provide a high standard of care to all of our patients. Main duties of the job

Excellent communication skills and an ability to work within a multidisciplinary team is essential whilst having flexibility to meet the changing needs of the business. As part of your role, duties will include: * Attend and provide reports for Infection Control and Clinical Governance Committees * Help create and maintain an environment that will ensure the safety of the patient/client * Work closely with the local IPC Committee and Head of Clinical Services to implement policies and procedures * Conduct environmental audits for IPC throughout the hospital * Undertake training and education on IPC issues * Carry out necessary surveillance to identify and monitor infections within the hospital
