We have an exciting vacancy that has arisen at Park Hill Hospital for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Ward Manager to join our customer and commercially focused team.

Main duties of the job

As a key member of the Senior Clinical Team, the Ward Manager will be integral to the development of the strategic vision and plan for the Ward, as well as accountable for delivery of patient pathways that are Caring, Safe, Effective, Responsive, Effective and Well Led.

Located in Doncaster, the hospital currently has 17 bedrooms and a four bedded day care unit all with en suite facilities. By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The fully equipped ultra clean air theatre is particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy and hip and knee replacement. The day unit is suitable for minor operations.   • Previous clinical supervisory experience and background as a Ward Nurse
  • Experience of managing rosters and staffing (desirable)
