Job summary

Pharmacist Duchy Hospital, Truro Flexible Working - 30 Hours Per Week The role Main duties will be the provision of a clinical pharmacy service to wards, theatres and outpatients. You will also provide support to the overarching medicines optimisation strategy at the site including as medicines lead on relevant governance committees, support to education and training and local policy/SOP review. Procurement and stock management is supported by an on-site pharmacy technician. You will be supported in the role by fellow pharmacists across the Ramsay Health Care UK Group. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be patient focused. Applications are welcomed from hospital pharmacists, community pharmacists and primary care pharmacists. You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacist to be eligible to apply for this post. About Us Duchy, a private hospital also treating some NHS patients, has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services. The hospital opened in 1981 and has 30 inpatient spaces arranged as 24 single bedrooms all with en-suite facilities to ensure complete privacy. In addition there is 1 4-bedded room and 1 2-bedded room. There is also a 12 space Ambulatory Care Unit for day patients. Other facilities include Cardiac Cath. Lab, 3 laminar flow operating theatres, JAG accredited endoscopy/day surgery unit, Outpatient Department and Pre-admission assessment clinic, Physiotherapy and Clinical Imaging service. The hospital offers a wide range of surgical procedures including orthopaedics, general, vascular, weight loss surgery, gynaecology, urology, ENT and Ophthalmology. What you'll bring with you
