Modality LLP is a
large-scale provider of NHS Outpatient Services, renowned for its innovative
approach to delivering efficient pathways for patients requiring specialist
care, leading to high quality patient outcomes. We work in partnership with a
number of hospitals across the country to collaboratively redesign outpatient
services with more care being delivered in community settings.
As one of the
UKs largest providers of community-based Dermatology services, Modality LLP is
looking to expand our existing team through the recruitment of experienced
dermatology nurses and therefore support future growth of our community
dermatology services.

Main duties of the job
Our community
dermatology service manages a wide-range of dermatological conditions that
would otherwise be referred to secondary care. Our team of consultants, GPwERs
and specialist nurses are able to provide patients with rapid access to
specialist opinion from a choice of clinic locations across Sandwell and
Birmingham. This role will support the continued growth of the service enable
the service to offer access to a wider range of treatments within primary care
and the community setting.
We strive to
deliver exceptional standards of care within the community setting where
patients are seen within 3 months from referral and referring GPs can access
timely advice and guidance. Our service also incorporates a regular
consultant-led MDT which ensures that our clinicians are supported to
continuously develop. The ability to
travel between clinic locations will be essential.

- Over 15 years of experience of delivering community outpatient services
- Contracts with ICBs and hospital providers
- A diverse clinical workforce of consultants, GPs with extended roles, specialist nurses and allied health professionals
- Delivery of over 120,000 patient consultations per year
- Delivery of 1st consultations within a maximum of 4 weeks from referral from a choice of community locations, 7 days per week

- Minimum of 3 years post registration experience
- A strong understanding of multi- disciplinary and/or multi agency working within a community setting.
- Competence in individual caseload management and able to prioritise own work
- Knowledge and understanding of psychosocial issues affecting patients with chronic illness
Desirable
- Experience of working within a dermatology setting
- Experience of working within a similar environment within primary/secondary care

- Basic IT skills
- Ability to be flexible with working hours to meet the needs of the service
- Full driving licence and the ability to travel between service locations.
