Job summary
Modality LLP is a large-scale provider of NHS Outpatient Services, renowned for its innovative approach to delivering efficient pathways for patients requiring specialist care, leading to high quality patient outcomes. we work in partnership with a number of hospitals across the country to collaboratively redesign outpatient services with more care being delivered in community settings.
We are looking for GPs who are either currently practicing as, or, wish to develop their knowledge and experience as GPs with extended roles (GPwERs). The roles will offer the opportunity for candidates to gain exposure to the future models for delivering hospital services within primary care, using new technologies and through integrated working.
The posts on offer will be across the following specialty areas:
- Dermatology
- Rheumatology
- Gynaecology
- ENT
- Cardiology
- Urology
- Neurology
- Respiratory Medicine
- Gastroenterology
- ADHD
- General Surgery
All roles will be split between providing GP sessions within one of our practices and training/working within one of the above specialty areas.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop their skills in these roles via the Post-CCT fellowship programme, Trailblazer Fellowship Programme or through Modalitys Clinical Fellowship programme.
Main duties of the job
Under the supervision and
mentorship of the speciality clinical lead, the postholder will be trained to
support delivery of community outpatient services within an agreed specialty
area.
The doctor will be
supported to undertake a postgraduate specialist diploma qualification together
with protected time. They will build a portfolio of evidence including in the
day-to-day assessment, management, monitoring and follow up of patients referred
to the service.
The GPwER Fellow will
support continuous improvement of standards and the quality of patient care
delivered through the service, through audits, MDTs, research, and other
modalities.
