Deliver high quality, evidence-based nursing care in line with hospital policies and best practiceAssess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients undergoing gynaecological and general surgical proceduresSupport patients pre-operatively and post operatively, including monitoring recovery and managing complicationsAdminister medications safely in line with Nursing and Midwifery Council guidelinesRecognise and respond appropriately to changes in patient conditionMaintain accurate, clear, and timely clinical documentationWork collaboratively with consultants, medical teams, and allied health professionalsProvide clear communication and emotional support to patients and their familiesContribute to effective discharge planning to ensure safe transitions of careMaintain a safe, clean, and well organised clinical environmentSupport Healthcare Assistants and junior staff, contributing to a positive team cultureParticipate in audit, quality improvement, and clinical governance activities Key Requirements
