Main duties of the job
The post-holder will work as a Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist delivering an expert, high-quality service to patients diagnosed with breast cancer at The London Clinic. The role covers all stages of the breast cancer pathway, from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship to palliative care where appropriate. The post-holder will ensure that patients receive holistic, evidence-based care, supported by the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), in line with national guidance and TLC's commitment to excellence. This will be achieved through expert clinical practice, management of a complex patient caseload, education, audit, research, and active participation in service development.

Job title: Breast Cancer CNS - Band 7 Salary: £59,931 - £64,710 Depending on experience Job Type: Permanent Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday The role This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist to play a pivotal role within our established breast cancer service. We are seeking a nurse with a solid foundation in breast cancer care, ideally with around 2 years relevant specialist experience, who is confident supporting patients across the full pathway from diagnosis through treatment and follow up. You will be a consistent and trusted presence for patients and their families, providing expert clinical guidance, education, and compassionate support at what is often a highly challenging time. Working closely with leading consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will act as a central point of contact, helping to coordinate care and ensure a seamless patient experience. The role offers a high level of autonomy, including the delivery of nurse led clinics and follow up services, alongside active involvement in service development, audit, and quality improvement.
