We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to join our Therapies Team at The London Clinic in Central London, with a competitive salary range on offer. Main duties of the job

To operate with a busy caseload of outpatients alongside managing patient related and professional activities. To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work, including the management of patients in your care. To undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients including those with diverse or complex presentations/multi-pathologies; use advanced clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques to provide an accurate diagnosis of their condition.

Job description

Job responsibilities

To perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions. To provide a diagnosis, develop and deliver an individualised treatment plan. To utilise clinical and organisational skills to meet the needs of both patients and the Clinic.

  • Job Type: This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week
  • Shifts: The working pattern is Monday to Friday (working hours are typically 7.5-hour shift between the hours of 8am-8pm)

  • To demonstrate theoretical knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and awareness of the biopsychosocial model when determining clinical diagnosis and prognosis, resulting in patient centred goals and treatment plan in line with evidence-based practice.
  • To demonstrate highly developed dexterity, co-ordination, therapeutic handling and palpatory skills for assessment and manual treatment of patients.
  • Assess the patients understanding of treatment proposals, gain valid informed consent and have the capacity to work within a legal framework with patients who lack the capacity to consent to treatment.
  • To keep accurate, legible records of patient care in line with service guidelines and observing rules of confidentiality.
