Job summary

We are currently recruiting for a Pre-Registration Pharmacy Technician Apprentice at The London Clinic. This is a 27-month fixed-term contract and offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, gain hands-on experience, and grow within a supportive clinical environment.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will support the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality pharmacy services. Working closely with pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals, you will gain hands-on experience while completing your apprenticeship qualification. Responsibilities include accurate record keeping, stock management, patient support, and contributing to service improvement

Job title: Pre-registration Pharmacy Technician Apprentice Salary: Band 3 Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London W1G 6BW Job Type: 27-month Fixed Term Contract Hours: 37.5 hours per week (8:30am to 7:30pm as rostered), Monday to Sunday including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays The role: We are currently looking to recruit a Pre-registration Pharmacy Technician Apprentice at The London Clinic. In this role, you will support the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality pharmacy services. Working closely with pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals, you will gain hands-on experience while completing your apprenticeship qualification. Responsibilities include accurate record keeping, stock management, patient support, and contributing to service improvement. This position requires a proactive and professional approach, with a strong commitment to learning and teamwork. Core Apprentice Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an e-portfolio of evidence as directed by college assessors or in-house educational supervisors
  • Attend regular progress meetings
  • Manage study time effectively
  • Consistently deliver accurate work and meet course deadlines
  • Achieve in-house competencies across pharmacy services
  • Uphold the professional reputation and confidentiality of the department
  • General Responsibilities:
  • Participate in audits and quality improvement projects
  • Maintain professional conduct and align with Clinic values
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines
  • Maintain confidentiality across all activities
  • Undertake duties as required by the Chief Pharmacist
