* Deliver safe and high-quality nursing care across all areas of the Endoscopy Unit (pre-assessment, procedures, recovery, and discharge).

Main duties of the job
The Endoscopy Staff Nurse will play a key role in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures. This includes pre-assessment, intra-procedure support, post-procedure recovery, and safe discharge.
The role requires a strong background in endoscopy nursing, with the ability to apply specialist knowledge, support patients through their treatment journey, and contribute to service development. The post holder will maintain high professional standards in line with the NMC Code, act as a mentor to junior staff and students, and provide leadership when required.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to join our highly skilled team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy, patient-focused service that provides exceptional care across the full endoscopy pathway, from pre-assessment and procedures to recovery and safe discharge.
You will use your specialist endoscopy knowledge and clinical expertise to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care. This hands-on role requires confidence to rotate across all areas of the unit, with opportunities to support service development and mentor junior colleagues.
This role is based on an internal rotation contract, working a variety of shift patterns between Monday and Friday, 07:30 to 20:00.
