Lead Clinical Pharmacist

We're looking for an enthusiastic Lead Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic Pharmacy Department at The London Clinic in Central London (W1G 7L). This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's most respected private hospitals. We are offering a competitive salary Band 8a equivalent per annum based on skills and experience.

Job Profile

The Lead Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, and delivery of high-quality clinical pharmacy services across The London Clinic. This role supports the Deputy Chief Pharmacist - Clinical & Operations and works with the other Lead Clinical Pharmacist and plays a key part in shaping medicines management, promoting safe and cost-effective prescribing, and ensuring optimal pharmaceutical care for patients.

Successful candidates will be conscientious, enthusiastic, and highly motivated, with excellent organisational and communication skills. You should be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating competence as an autonomous practitioner across all shift patterns required for service delivery Job

Type & Shift Pattern: This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Band 8a per annum based on skills and experience.

  • Minimum 5 years post-registration hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Comprehensive clinical rotations across surgical and medical wards.
  • Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience implementing service improvements and managing risk.
  • Experience managing clinical pharmacists and technicians.
