Job Title: Staff Nurse - Band 5 Department: Oncology Inpatients Contract: Permanent, Full time (37.5 hours per week, rotational days, nights and weekends) Salary: £40,491 - £46,015 (depending on experience) Location: Duchess of Devonshire Wing, The London Clinic, Marylebone About Us: The London Clinic is one of the UK's largest and most established independent charitable hospitals, located in the heart of Marylebone. Working alongside leading consultants and a skilled multidisciplinary team, we deliver complex oncology and haematology treatments within a supportive and compassionate setting. The Role: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our Oncology Inpatient team within the Duchess of Devonshire Wing. This is an opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centred care within one of the UK's most respected independent hospitals. As a Band 5 Staff Nurse, you will care for adult oncology inpatients receiving a range of treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and palliative care. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, individualised care that meets the complex needs of patients and their families. Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatmentMonitor and manage treatment-related symptoms and side effectsContribute to the assessment, planning and evaluation of care plansWork under supervision of SACT-trained nurses and progress towards achieving SACT competencySupport patients and families with empathy, professionalism and clear communicationMaintain the highest standards of infection prevention and controlParticipate in audits, reflective practice, and quality improvement initiatives Skills and Experience
