Job summary

As a Staff Nurse, you will play an essential role in delivering safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care to patients throughout their surgical journey. You will assess, plan, and evaluate care, support patients with stomas, manage enteral and parenteral feeding, and provide expert post-operative care, including epidural and PCA management. Main duties of the job

To be responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care and service to the patients. This includes the appropriate assessment and evaluation of care in keeping with: * The philosophies of the Clinic/Department. * The NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the Scope of Professional Practice. * The Clinic Policies and Protocols.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a highly specialised surgical setting, supporting patients undergoing complex gastro-intestinal and colorectal procedures.   • NMC Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience working on acute surgical wards
  • Competent in post-operative care, including epidural and PCA management, venepuncture/cannulation, and enteral or parenteral feeding
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills with a patient-centred approach
