Job summary
We are currently looking to recruit a Production Technician / Pharmacy Technician to join our Aseptic Services Unit (ASU). This is a pivotal role supporting the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality aseptic services in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Main duties of the job
Supervise aseptic compounding activities and junior staff in the cleanroom environment.
Prepare and compound cytotoxic, hazardous and monoclonal products in line with GMP and SOPs
Perform in-process volume checks and final release of aseptically prepared products (as appropriate)
Maintain aseptic equipment, isolators, and environmental monitoring processes.
Assist in quality improvement projects and report out-of-specification results.
Manage top-up services, tray assembly and accurate documentation.
Participate in on-call, weekend and bank holiday rotas for out-of-hours production.
Support training and supervision of new and junior staff.
