Job Title: Resident ICU Fellow Salary: Competitive Location: Intensive Care Unit, Main Hospital, 20 Devonshire Place, London Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months renewable or 24 months) Hours: Full-Time, 44 hours per week About Us The London Clinic is one of the UK's largest independent hospitals, established in 1932 and based in Marylebone. Our consultant-led, nurse-intensive ICU is equipped with advanced technology and supports complex surgical and medical cases including oncology, gastrointestinal, haematology and orthopaedics. The Role We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Fellow to join our dedicated ICU team. You will provide day-to-day medical care for critically ill patients, manage deteriorating patients across the hospital, support emergency calls, and ensure continuity of care in collaboration with ICU consultants and senior nursing staff. Review ICU patients daily and attend consultant-led ward roundsLead the emergency medical response for deteriorating patients across the hospitalAct as second responder to cardiac arrest callsSupport the Outreach team and facilitate safe patient transfersProvide medical input to wards, theatres and anaesthetic emergencies (where relevant to skillset)Contribute to documentation, clinical audits, governance and teachin Skills and Experience: Please note that only applicants meeting the following criteria will be considered:
Full GMC registration and licence to practise in the UKA minimum of 3 years post-qualification experienceAt least 12 months recent experience working in an Intensive Care Unit within the UKAt least 6 months' experience in anaesthetics or proven advanced airway management skillsALS certification (PILS/APLS desirable)Strong competencies in intubation, line insertion, airway management, and mechanical ventilationExcellent communication, decision-making and organisational skills Benefits We offer a range of benefits including flexible working and great career opportunities.
