At The London Clinic in Marylebone, we are looking for a Clinical Site Practitioner who can support our teams, lead with compassion, and help us deliver safe, high-quality care around the clock. This role is all about being present, responsive, and making a real difference to patients and staff across the hospital. Based at our state-of-the-art hospital in Central London, you will manage patient placement alongside the Bed Manager during the day. Out of hours, you will act as Hospital Site Manager, leading the response to emergencies, resolving staffing and flow issues, and ensuring the hospital runs safely and efficiently 24 hours a day. Key Duties:
Oversee patient placement and flow with the Bed Manager to ensure safe and timely admissions.Act as Hospital Site Manager out of hours, leading on clinical and operational decision-making.Respond to cardiac arrests, NEWS2 calls, fire alerts, and major incidents across the site.Provide clinical support, assess deteriorating patients, and escalate care as needed.Manage staff redeployment to maintain safe staffing levels during unplanned absences.Resolve patient concerns and complaints out of hours in line with hospital policy.Coordinate complex admissions and safe discharges, including international and high-dependency cases.Lead daily bed meetings and contribute to accurate capacity planning and reporting.Coach and support ward staff to maintain high clinical standards and best practice.Support the Ward Accreditation Programme three days per month, conducting reviews and observations.Use audit tools and QI methods (e.g. PDSA cycles) to drive continuous improvement in care delivery. NMC Registered Nurse (Level 1)Extensive post-registration experience, including 3 in an acute care settingExperience making senior clinical decisions and managing complex operational issuesCurrent ILS qualification (ALS desirable)Advanced clinical skills (e.g. cannulation, ECG interpretation, catheterisation)Strong working knowledge of patient flow and inpatient care coordination Desirable:
