Band 6 MRI Radiographer We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 MRI Radiographer to join our Radiology team based at The London Clinic in central London. With a competitive salary range on offer Band 6 NHS equivalent dependent on skills and experinece. Job Profile The MRI Radiographer will ensure the highest standard of patient care, to scan patients, working closely with the Band 7 radiographers. Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week Shifts: Monday - Friday., with on call rota; saturday-sunday Location: The London Clinic's Radiology Department, 20 Devinshire Place. Key Duties
To scan patients, working closely with the Band 7 Radiographers .Ensure a high standard of patient care, and participate in the monitoring of standardsEnsure that any person entering the MRI scanner is appropriately safety checked in accordance with departmental policyEnsure that patients, relatives and staff are appropriately informed of any discussions relating to patient examinationsAssess the physical, mental and communication abilities and needs of individual patientsPosition patients accurately for the appropriate examinations, taking into account their abilities, needs and limitationsAssist in radiological procedures, utilising their nursing skills, knowledge and experience Skills & Experience To hold a DCR or BSc in Radiography To be HCPC registered The London Clinic has charitable status which is fundamental to our identity and how we operate, enabling our teams to invest in treatments, technology and facilities that benefit our patients, staff and the wider community.
