We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Breast team here at The London Cancer Clinic, based in our Duchess of Devonshire Wing in Devonshire Place, London (W1G 6JA). We are offering a competitive inclusive salary range of £50,713 - £60,848 per annum.

Main duties of the job

The Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is a key role within The London Clinic providing excellent patient care across the Breast Pathway and supports clinical expertise to the breast care team. You will be responsible for ensuring that clinical practice, procedures and standards of care are evidence based and remain dynamic, ensuring quality service development to meet the patients' needs. Your role will also include; To be responsible and accountable for own practice within the clinical area and for delivering a quality service for all stakeholders. To achieve the highest possible standard of nursing care that balances patient and family/carer experience with the most efficient use of resources. To provide leadership in clinical practise and act as a resource and a role model for specialist practice. To be a highly visible, inclusive and approachable role model to all staff within the breast team and Hospital. To acts as the go-to person for the MDT and patients with respect to patient cancer and surgical pathways for patients under TLC care.
