Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join our Outpatients nursing team located in Central London, W1G (close to Regents Park & Baker Street tube stations).
As a Staff Nurse, you will work with senior and junior staff co-ordinating and delivering quality standards of nursing care following a patient centred model of practice in keeping with the Clinic's Philosophy, The Departments Policies/Protocols and NMC guidelines.
Main duties of the job
* Responsible for individualised patient care of the highest standard, working closely with the Consultants, nursing colleagues and clerical staff.
* Ensure the provision of excellent evidence based care for patients.
* Act as a chaperone where necessary and co-ordinate and assist Minor Gynae / Colposcopy / Hysteroscopy Clinics/ENT independently.
* Promote research based practice and clinical audit and evaluate change in practice and service delivery as a result of this to ensure quality outcomes for all patients.
* Provide clear leadership to colleagues in a visible and highly professional manner, acting as a positive role model.
