Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our Pathology team based at The London Clinic in central London, W1G 6BW. With a competitive salary range on offer of £26,349 - £31,189 inclusive per annum depended on skills and experience.
Main duties of the job
* To ensure that all specimens received in the department are dealt with promptly, accurately and according to procedures. * To undertake preliminary preparation of specimens. * To ensure the prompt despatch of samples needing to be referred to external laboratories and maintain accurate records of work sent out of the department. * To investigate and, where possible, resolve any discrepancies with specimens received and report any unresolved issues to a biomedical scientist.

Our in-house repertoire includes allergy, biochemistry, endocrinology, haematology, blood transfusion, histology, cytology, immunology, microbiology and stem cell services.
