Job summary

Set in the leafy suburb of Edgbaston, close to Birmingham City centre, Priory Hospital Woodbourne is set in beautiful grounds, conveniently located for access to the West Midlands motorway network and with good local public transport links.

We provide a diverse range of inpatient services, including acute and psychiatric intensive care for adults (including our unique 18-25 year old service), child and adolescent mental health, specialist eating disorder (including day care) and private acute and addictions treatment programmes. Main duties of the job

This exciting role requires an organised individual who is confident in team working with the ability to work on their own with a direct caseload. The successful candidate will have experience in MDT, group work and working in EDU or with transferable skills. The role includes managing a range of complex presentations including nutrition support, weight management and disordered eating. The successful applicant will provide full Dietetic assessments of a patients needs, resulting in an individualised Dietetic plan for that client and work in close collaboration with the OT, catering team and wider multi-disciplinary team to provide specialist advice. Applicants should be a Registered Dietitian, preferably with some experience of working in a mental health setting, with excellent communication and IT skills. We can offer you the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment and in-house training opportunities are provided for staff at all levels.
