Specialising in the management and treatment of mental health problems including addictions and eating disorders, our multidisciplinary team deliver personalised treatment programmes and have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care.

The CAMHS Eating Disorder Unit (Priory Court), which the successful candidate would join, is made up of an dynamic MDT and ward based therapy team that covers 18 inpatient beds that offers general psychological care/support to a service user population up to the age of 18.

Job description

Job responsibilities

Reporting to the Occupational Therapist, the successful candidate will be required to support groups, provide 1:1 support and be able to support colleagues when needed.

They will be joining an excellent experienced team, determined to deliver succesful treatment based on outcomes.

This will include inducting patients to our therapy programme, attending Multi-Disciplinary Team Meetings, support the mental and emotional as well as social well-being of service user, undertake protocol based occupational therapy assessments, assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans involving the psychological and occupational treatment, delivery and review of therapy groups, independent on-to-one key work sessions, discharge planning, support and contribute to the training and support of other staff.
