Job summary

We are seeking experienced nurses, RMN and RNLD, to join our established and dedicated team and this will suit someone looking to develop their experience in either PICU or Acute wards.

Main duties of the job

The service is dedicated to providing innovative, high quality care, which will enable patients recovery and re-engagement with the community.

Our Ward staff are required to work 12 hour shifts which include a 1hour break. Shift times are 07:30 20:00 or 19:30 08:00. You will be required to work a mixture of days and nights however this can be discussed on interview.

About us

Priory Hospital East Midlands, located between Nottingham and Mansfield, is a specialist acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) service for adult females.

We currently have two wards:

  • Acute - 9 beds for females 18+
  • PICU - 10 beds for females 18+

What we are looking for:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN), or Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD) with an ACTIVE NMC PIN Registration.
  • Desire and motivation to work within an Acute or PICU Service
  • If you are motivated, flexible and ready to take on a new challenge
  • Would like to work as part of an established hospital, with a collaborative and supportive MDT, that provide a clear pathway for the patients in our care.
  • Focused on patient centred care.
  • Have a commitment to developing and delivering high quality care
  • Possess, or be ready to develop effective decision making skills
