Main duties of the job
Russell House Eating Disorders Service is a 29 bedded In Patient Unit comprising two wards Cedars and Aspen. We are an Adult Service. We offer SEDU treatment to people suffering with Anorexia Nervosa/Bulimia Nervosa and other more Atypical Eating Disorders. We are a well established team and have a large MDT that all work together to create the best care and patient experience we can offer. As a Service we work closely with other ED Services in the North and we also take referrals for Out of Area patients from all over the country. We understand that Eating Disorders is a specialist area. But if you are passionate and want to make a difference to our patients we can support you to learn and feel confident with the skills needed to work in Eating Disorders. You will also already have skills that can be transferred over to use in this role. We are looking for enthusiastic people who want to work in Eating Disorders who have the ability to be open to learning and to have the skills to work as part of a team. We are looking for organisational skills and leadership skills related to managing an RMN and HCA Team. Our DWM team work closely with our Ward Managers and we look for skills in terms of -Delegation/Organisational skills/Time Mangement and the ability to be able to offer supervision to members of the nursing team.
