Priory Hospital Ticehurstis looking to recruit a Deputy Ward Manager for our Female Acute Ward to join the team.This is afull time 37.5 hours role. We are also offering a £5,000 welcome bonus.
Main duties of the job
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

We work collaboratively with the discharge teams to ensure a smooth transition back into existing community services, or to an individuals home, where possible.

- The ideal candidate will hold active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, meeting the requirements of revalidation, and be a trained assessor or supervisor with essential clinical supervision experience, while training in this area is considered desirable. They will demonstrate evidence of continued professional development, with a clear commitment to maintaining and enhancing both professional and leadership skills. Strong computer literacy is also required. In terms of experience, candidates should have at least 18 months to two years of post-registration practice, along with demonstrable expertise within a clinical specialty.
