Who will you support?
I am a young man looking for a Registered Learning Disability Nurse/Registered Mental Health Nurse to support me and help promote my independence, so I can successfully live in the community.
I am looking for an individual who is calm, patient and skilled in verbal and non- verbal communication. I would also like my nursing staff to provide support within my apartment, especially with therapeutic and sensory activities.
I am focusing on being comfortable with people in my apartment, (which is in a hospital). I am interested in films and music, so I would like someone who can talk about those things. I enjoy playing football with my nursing staff and doing exercises, but sometimes I do like the environment to be quiet and I like to have my space.
