Priory Hospital Bristol is part of the Healthcare Division of Priory Group and provides inpatient and outpatient treatment for adults with a range of mental health problems. There are 7 wards, with a total of 77 beds, comprised of Acute Mental Health, Male PICU, Rehabilitation and Recovery, Specialist Eating Disorders, and private inpatient treatment for Mental Health and Addictions. There is also a private outpatient department offering individual treatment and group therapy for a range of mental health problems.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HCPC registered Practitioner Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work with private patients in our outpatients department.

The postholder will be required to offer individual psychological assessment and therapy to adult outpatients with a range of mental health problems, as well as to facilitate group therapy as part of our group therapy programme. You will be working alongside psychological therapists and counsellors offering a range of evidence-based therapy modalities, and Consultant Psychiatrists.

You will need to be an HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling) and be eligible for Chartered Psychologist status with the BPS.
