Job summary
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
Main duties of the job
- Deliver specialist nutritional assessment and evidence-based dietetic interventions for patients with complex mental health conditions, including eating disorders and co-morbidities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualised meal plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to support physical health restoration and psychological recovery.
- Provide nutritional education, meal support, and therapeutic input as part of structured treatment programmes.
- Monitor biochemical markers, weight trends, and physical health parameters to ensure safe and effective nutritional rehabilitation.
- Contribute to care planning, clinical documentation, audit, and service development while maintaining professional standards in line with HCPC and BDA guidelines.
