Job summary

You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

Main duties of the job

You will spend your time based on our PICU ward (Purdown). Carrying out assessments, contributing to ward rounds and care plans, and liaising with other therapists and consultant psychiatrists.

The Care Quality Commission rates our services as good.

Bristol Hospital (Stapleton, M32): Our Grade II listed hospital building is set in extensive grounds, just off the M32 and less than three miles from the centre of Bristol, with free on-site parking. We offer 77 beds over seven wards, providing a wide range of services, including Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU), eating disorders, acute care, rehab and recovery.
